CTP Whitepaper Series: #2 Identifying issues around consistency

Following the European Commission’s 2021 Capital Markets Union package, particularly the emphasis on a Consolidated Tape (CT) at its core, we believe the developments leading to the creation of a CT for European capital markets, are moving in the right direction.

Following on from our first whitepaper on consolidation and aggregation (December 2021), our second whitepaper tackles the consistency of transaction records – the issues and patterns that arise – and suggests some potential solutions as a path forward.
